Beijing 2008

It is a great honor to be one of the four Chicago Olympic Volunteers at the Beijing Olympics. On July 30, 2008, my family and I travelled to Beijing, China via United Airline flight 851 non-stop from Chicago O'Hare Airport to Peking Capital Airport (Pek). This is the first time we flew over the north pole!





Beijing Organizing Committee of the Olympic Games (BOCOG) assigned me to serve at the National Aquatic Center (water cube). My team consists of eight medical students from one of the top medical schools in China called Peking Union Medical College.

Hello Dr. Tee!

Amazing! How I wished to be there too, taking the pictures of all the swimmers @ the Water Cube diving & swimming. Maybe I will be, not this time around but in London Olympics.

I'm pretty sure you and your family had a great time in Beijing. You have done Thai/Tay/Tee family proud and Syabas to you!

Yes, my family & I enjoyed the Beijing trip very much. We are looking forward to volunteer at the world cup 2010 in South Africa and London 2012 Olympics.
